What's new in Noodle

Remote control now works when sharing through the macOS picker. Reactions are always visible and animations stay on. Animated stickers, shared audio and call fixes.

Animated stickers in chat and reactions. Calls can now share audio from your Mac or a single app. Fixes for remote control and the small call window.

Chats: voice and video notes with transcription on request, attachments saved on the device and removed from the server once everyone has them, attachments waiting in the box before sending, messages editable and deletable for 5 minutes, Clear chat, reporting of people and messages, encrypted backup to change device. Calls now ring phones even when the app is closed. Several fixes, including the call that stayed active after hanging up.

• Dictation everywhere with the new Noodle Whisper integration: hold a key, speak, release and the text appears where the cursor is, in any app. Transcribed on the Mac, even in pieces while you speak, with smart polishing, spoken commands and your own words.
• A more readable Brain graph: notes spread out according to how many there are, there is a Distance slider and titles no longer overlap.
• Connected assistants can open pages and views, highlight a passage and write live in the pages they have been granted, even without Full control.
• Integration views that stay blank now reload by themselves.

• The skill for AI assistants now works with every assistant, not just one: the zip says how to install it for each, with a version to paste into chat assistants.
• The guide explains the Design section in detail: tools, menus, shortcuts, auto layout, components, prototypes, export, boards and the keys that do something else inside Noodle.

• Clearer two-step verification: you turn it on from the browser with an authenticator app, and the Mac and iPhone apps ask for the code. After the first sign-in the app offers to sign in with your fingerprint or face, on that device only.
• If you had only turned on a passkey and couldn't sign in from the app, you now get an explanation and a link to finish the setup in the browser.
• Design: more than 2,000 extra font families in the font menu. Each one downloads the first time a text uses it and then works offline too.
• Design: if the design editor gets stuck while an assistant is working in it, it restarts on its own, without reopening the app.

• The left bar shows icons only: the name appears when you hover over them.
• On the Mac, clicking a notification brings Noodle back even with the window closed, and the Dock icon shows how many notifications are unread.

• The app checks for a new version more often: every hour and when you come back to it.
• Updates download on their own by default: when they're ready, just restart. You can turn this off in Settings, under Advanced.
• Notifications: in the Mac app "unread only" and "Mark all as read" work again, and the counter no longer shifts the icon.

• The Mac app updates itself: Update now downloads the new version in the background and Restart to update installs it. In settings you can let it download updates on its own.
• Designs shared with you appear in Design.
• The Design canvas stays sharp while you move and resize, and zooming no longer briefly shows elements where they used to be.

• AI assistant chats in integrations can mention Noodle and Brain notes with @ (never protected ones), with your permission.

• Smoother Design section when editing every layer of a page at once: the canvas no longer stalls to redraw.
• Lighter selection colours panel during repeated edits.

• New Design section (in the Mac app): interfaces and prototypes with layers, frames, auto layout, components and variables, also with several people in real time.
• Import project files (even very large ones full of images): the editor is usable within seconds, images are prepared in the background.
• Smooth canvas on heavy projects: scrolling, zooming and editing without stutter, images loaded at the resolution needed.
• Code for frames (HTML and CSS, React, SwiftUI and more) and, for AI assistants, designs created from HTML and code read back, even without a server.
• Autosave during pauses, without stopping your work.

New

• First steps: on first sign-in, Today shows the main things to learn at the top. Each step explains how to do it, and "Show me where" points to the right place in the app.
• Connecting an AI assistant is simpler: a step-by-step guide, and with Noodle Cloud you approve it in the browser, with no keys to copy.
• People: a section in the left bar with your teams, spaces and pages shared with you.
• Spaces have an owner: whoever creates a space owns it and can name other administrators. Every space can be exported in full.
• Two-step verification on Noodle Cloud: after the first sign-in you set it up with a passkey, your fingerprint or an authenticator app.
• New style for everyone.

Fixes

• From the first launch you can go back to the choice with "Back".
• "Pages" opens the page list even when there are no pages yet.
• The First steps hint no longer stays hidden under the password change.

New

• Team Brain: a team space can be a shared Brain, with linked notes, map and journal, and everyone sees it with their own role.
• Team spaces for AI assistants: each space can be granted to the assistant in Settings > AI assistants. It is off by default, and the assistant never goes beyond your role.
• Integration chats know what you are looking at: the open page and the selected text reach the chat. It can be turned off in Settings > Integrations.
• Brain folder in read and write: changes made in the files and in Noodle add up. There is a conflict only when the same paragraph changes, and the previous version stays in History.

Fixes

• Team space pages are read-only for people with the read-only role.
• Brain folder warnings show up in the app, with "Proceed". A mass deletion no longer stops the whole copy.
• Today adapts when Pomodoro is off.
• Security updates.

• Important fix: a note written by an assistant or on another device could be emptied the first time it was opened. The editor now waits for the content before opening. Notes already emptied can be recovered from History.
• Same fix for synced blocks.

• AI assistants: a wrong or incomplete request now returns an error instead of being ignored, and a note without text is no longer created empty.

• Brain vaults linked to a folder: a note written by an assistant no longer gets emptied when it reaches the computer. Notes already emptied can be recovered from History.
• Read-only copy: no more empty files for notes that just arrived.

• The sync dot can be clicked and explains what is waiting and why, with "Retry now".
• AI assistants in a window, opened from the bar.
• The switch for assistants on this computer sits at the top of the settings.
• Guide with collapsible chapters.
• Terminal: files stay on the left, sessions open on the right.
• Today fits on screen even on small laptops.

• Noodle Cloud by invitation: sign in with "I have an invitation".
• A notice when a new version is out (can be turned off in Settings > Advanced).
• AI assistants: a switch in the bar, page-by-page access and access requests to approve.
• Pomodoro becomes a module, to turn on only if you need it.
